Dear Hillary Supporters,

We have heard you loud and clear! You are not voting for Obama.

Some of you have said that you are;
voting a third party, or
writing Hillary's name in, or
staying home on election day.

But many of you said that you're voting for McCain/Palin to clear the path for Hillary to run again in 2012.
How BOLD.

DENIED ~ Hillary Clinton Not Granted Her Request to Chair

"What?!? Yes, you run around on the beach, Barky...I'll drag my ass around these 57 states for you. Then you and another holier-than-thou Kennedy can give me the finger on MY health care plan (been in my back pocket since the big dawg was in the White House, btw) that you STOLE.....just like every other damn idea I had. Seriously, I started out annoyed at how often you said "I agree with Hil" or "what Hil just said" during our debates, but I ended up just snickering at your unoriginal inept ways." - What I wish Hil would just say...or something like it.

*rolls eyes* Are all the women in Washington wearing some "Spit on Me" tee shirt that is invisible to people without political power in D.C.?

Just wondering.

DENIED ~ HILLARY CLINTON NOT GRANTED HER REQUEST TO CHAIR A SUBCOMMITTEE ON HEALTH COVERAGE

Hillary Rodham Clinton's dream of overhauling the country's health-care system as the steward of a new Senate subcommittee has reportedly flatlined.

The New York senator had made health-care reform the centerpiece of her presidential campaign. After bowing out of the race, Clinton pushed fellow Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy, the chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, to create a special health subcommittee for her to head.

But the Massachusetts senator, who's battling brain cancer, has shot down that idea -all but dashing any hope Clinton had of pinning her legacy to universal coverage.

Michael Myers, Kennedy's staff director on the committee, ended any speculation by telling the trade publication Inside Health Policy that Clinton would not chair a subcommittee. Kennedy will instead hold health-care proceedings at the full committee level, Myers said.

"In the end, it's President Obama who's going to lead the effort for us," Myers told Inside Health Policy.

According to The Washington Post, Clinton had sought the subcommittee to grab the health-care policy reins away from Kennedy, a champion of reform.

Clinton senior adviser Philippe Reines told The Post the senator would assist however she could.

Clinton told Kennedy and Majority Leader Harry Reid "that she stands ready to help President-elect Obama in any and every way she can to enact comprehensive health-care reform, which she has sought for nearly two decades," Reines said.

Clinton discussed her future endeavors in a Time magazine interview this week, quashing speculation she wanted a Cabinet-level job in the Obama administration or a seat on the Supreme Court.

"I'm interested in standing on the South Lawn of the White House and seeing President Obama signing into law quality, affordable health care for everybody, and voting in a big majority for clean, renewable energy and smarter economic policies," Clinton told Time.

Now that the 2008 election and its historic high turnout is history, there is much greater appreciation for the privilege of voting.

But most people don't realize that out of 44 American presidents, only the last 15 were elected in a truly democratic fashion by all of our citizens -- men AND women.

Until 1920 women were denied the vote, and few people have any idea of the struggle our suffragettes had to go through to right this wrong. It's an amazing, awe-inspiring story!

Now you can subscribe FREE to my exciting historical e-mail series that reveals HOW the suffragettes won votes for women. Believe me, it wasn't easy!

"The Privilege of Voting" is drawing rave reviews from readers all over the world. Dramatic, sequential short-story episodes follow the lives of eight of the world's most famous women to tell the true stories of the courage of the suffragettes. This should be no surprise to us. It is exactly what happens to all battered woman. They are beaten and go back for more- it never gets better and still tey expect it to change - and it never does! the longer we smile and take the worse it gets.
Hillary - did all women a great disservice and set us back a century- I am so disapointed - she should have known better. I did!

"Now that the 2008 election and its historic high turnout is history, there is much greater appreciation for the privilege of voting." The above posted by Virginia Harris is naive. The turnout of voters for Obama could not care less about the priviledge of voting. Most never voted before and if Obama is not running in 2012 will never vote again. I was a poll worker and watched who voted and believe me it was not because of the privilege but to elect Obama. Are you listening to the MSM echoing Michelle Obama as to how proud they are of this country. Because we elected an affirmative action president? What about fairly electing not selecting a competent president. These people should hang their heads in shame. I wondered where former President Carter was to oversee this country's election to see it was fair. He was cheering on the incompetent, selected by the sleazy leaders of the democratic party who threw democracy under the bus and ignored 18 million Hillary voters. The suffragettes would be turning over in their graves to know that after all their hard work we are sliding backwards. Some women are disgusting. We are just supposed to accept the misogeny and go with the flow. Well, not this woman. I will work as hard as I can to see that this farce does not happen again. Any woman who voted for Obama should wear a tee shirt saying "I am laying down so I can be walked on". I defended Hillary by believing that a dead hero is not an effective hero but she went far and above what I believe she needed to do. Maybe I am wrong--look what is happening to Joe Lieberman, and will certainly support her if she can give a plausable explaination

HI
Why doesn't this surprise me? No wonder Joe Lieverman left the Democratic party! I've always said Obama has no loyalty and will/did do/did anything to get elected! Hillary worked her ass off for him and then she gets spit on once again.

But this is what happens when you are loyal to a PARTY and not to ideals!

Hillary should quit the democratic party and go Independent!

Never thought I'd ever say that in some ways the Republicans are better than the Democrats. Though what they're doing to Sarah Palin is just as bad as what is being done to Hillary!
